When my daughter Nikita Rowe Walker felt forced to resign from her employment due to unfair treatment that left her physically and emotionally unwell we recognised that she would need help further to just leaving the job to recover and regain her confidence. Initially her physical health was our priority then the mental and emotional stress needed to be addressed. With everything on track health wise it became evident that it was important for myself as a parent to restore Nikita’s confidence that we need to confront the company where Nikita worked and address the issues that had caused Nikita to leave her employment. Nikita had no idea how to go about dealing with the company as all her previous attempts had failed so I called a couple of employment law agencies one of those being Work Law Limited. As a parent I was feeling quite protective of Nikita as she had lost a lot of confidence but when I contacted Work Law Ltd I immediately felt confident that I could trust these people to help my daughter find some kind of resolution. I felt completely included in the process but was able to step back and let Emma Moss who was Nikita’s representative guide and advise Nikita. We felt well advised throughout the whole process with Emma it was obvious that she had the experience and knowledge in employment law to give us honest and practical advice. The first face to face interaction with Emma was at mediation and we instantly felt a sense of confidence with Emma that is hard to achieve meeting some one for the first time. Emma’s professionalism and level of knowledge is impressive and was evident throughout the meeting. Nikita was very nervous about what would happen at mediation and although everything was not resolved at this point we came away knowing that Nikita had had the best representation with Emma. In mediation Emma was able to communicate and summarise exactly what was important to us in such a way that not only did she outline the possible breaches in employment law but also the personal toll on Nikita as a person. Following the mediation Emma made time to really debrief and discuss what had happened she gave us honest and straight forward advice on what we could do moving forward. We were able to walk away and let Emma take the reigns and negotiate a conclusion with the company. We were sceptical based on the mediation that the company would negotiate further but Emma managed to get a conclusion that suited both parties. I feel that we were lucky to have had Emma Moss represent Nikita she really is someone you can trust knows exactly what she is doing and will give you the best advice and representation. If I myself or anyone I know needed employment advice or a representative I would not hesitate to highly recommend Emma Moss and Work Law Ltd.Felt well advised
